If you are interested in media as well as its use and effects, this study course is perfectly right for you. The course is designed for those, who would like to know how media competence can be promoted in childhood and adolescence and how digital media can be used effectively in teaching and learning processes. Practical relevance is ensured by application-oriented teaching. The consecutive Master’s course qualifies graduates to take over responsible activities in the field of media education, for example didactic or advisory work, or in the field of further training or research tasks.

The part-time study course is compatible with your professional career and family life. Simultaneous employment is not a prerequisite for admission to the study course. The study content is mainly acquired through self-study. In addition, there are on-campus teaching activities every 14 days on Saturdays during the semester. Students spend on average 18 hours per week to their studies.
