Summary

The Master of Engineering in Digital Technologies is a full-time degree course offered at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences in Soest.

The curriculum includes core modules such as Big Data, Machine Learning and Computer Networks and IT Security as well as a wide range of compulsory elective modules. A central practical component is the compulsory interdisciplinary project in which students from different backgrounds work together to apply the knowledge they have acquired in the real world. The programme concludes with a Master's thesis and a colloquium.

Graduates are prepared for expert and leadership roles in areas such as additive manufacturing, automation, UX and interaction design, e-business/online marketing and smart farming. The degree also provides access to PhD studies and careers in the public sector.
