Welcome Event for Informatics and Business

The first lectures in Hagen will start on September 28th, 2026. We will also organize a get-together welcome event in the first weeks after your arrival. Further information about this event will be shared during the online events.

Our Welcome Days for the 2026/27 winter semester will take place on the following dates:
Monday, 28 September 2026
8:45 a.m.: Arrival in the foyer, collection of name badges
9:30 a.m.: A welcome from the Department of Technical Business Administration and information on the organisation of the degree programme
10:15 a.m.: An overview of the degree programmes within the programme groups
11:00 a.m.: ‘Save the Timetable’ campus rally in teams
13:30 p.m.: Official welcome for all first-year students at the Hagen campus
14:15 p.m.: A barbecue together
Tuesday, 29 September 2026
9:45 a.m.: Welcome and introduction in the Audimax
10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: ‘The Bridge to University’ construction competition in teams, followed by an awards ceremony
13:15 – 15:00 p.m.: Open timetable workshop
