Part-time Applied Computer Science M.Sc.

Iserlohn

Summary

The technological progress in computer sciences is extraordinary dynamic and requires a constant adjustment of the syllabus to the current demands of the industry. The part-time degree programme Applied Computer Science (M.Sc.) focusses on the most relevant application fields of informatics and imparts application-oriented professional and multidisciplinary skills for a career in industry, research, and administration with focus on software application development and system integration.

The consecutive part-time programme Applied Computer Science is designed for professionals (especially for those who work as computer science experts, IT system electronics technicians, and IT assistants), who have already obtained a Bachelor's degree and who want to expand their professional and methodological skills in the areas of software application development and system integration.

This degree course is a natural continuation for students of the part-time programme Applied Computer Science (B.Sc.) at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences, but also for graduates of Computer Science with regular attendance who want to start a professional career after graduating, while gaining further qualifications.

Furthermore, the Master's degree qualifies the graduates to access the higher service or to start a PhD programme.
