FH SWF App – Features and Quick Guide
Student ID card
The FH SWF App replaces the Chiporello card as the official student ID card at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences. Users can optionally add a photo within the app; this image is stored locally on their device.
Library card
The FH SWF App replaces the Chiporello card, which is used as a library card at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences' branch libraries.
Semester ticket
The semester ticket has also been integrated into the app. From February 2026 onwards, it will only be available through the app.
Easy access to university information
The FH SWF app gives you access to a range of university services. You can use it to check your exam results, read your emails, view the canteen menu, and access shortcuts to Moodle and other important university websites.
Additional features
The app also includes a calendar and notes function, a news feed and a job portal, all of which are managed by the app provider UniNow. The job portal features vacancies from South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences. Please note that no student data is shared with companies posting job offers.
