Qualification Goals

Graduates of the three semester degree course Advanced Engineering and Engineering Management M.Sc. have a solid technical knowledge in the field of systems engineering and are familiar with the related tools. Moreover, they have practice-oriented knowledge of business administration at its interfaces with technology and the typical associated management methods. Graduates of the degree course are familiar with the current state-of-the-art of research in the fields of machine learning and control engineering. They have the ability to acquire the current state-of-the-art research within a limited research area quickly on the basis of current publications and scientific databases.

Graduates of the field of study Electronic Systems are proficient in the central principles and methods for the development of embedded systems and the construction and implementation of systems for analogue and digital signal processing. They also have distinct problem-solving competences to deal with new and complex tasks and problems in the development and project planning of systems as well as with the associated hardware and software for systems in electrical engineering and electronics.

Graduates of the field of study Mechatronic Systems are proficient in the central principles and methods for the development of embedded systems and the conceptual design and optimisation of production systems. They also have distinctive problem-solving competences for processing new and complex tasks and problems in the development and project planning of systems, as well as the associated hardware and software for mechatronic systems.

Graduates of the field of study Mechanical Systems are proficient in the central principles and methods for modelling and simulating mechanical systems as well as methods for designing and optimising production systems. They also have distinctive problem-solving competences for processing new and complex tasks and problems in the development and project planning of systems, as well as the associated hardware and software for mechanical engineering systems.
