Programme for exchange students at the Faculty of Technical Business Administration (TBW)

Welcome to our programme for exchange students interested in various areas of business administration. Hagen is located between the famous industrial Ruhr region and South Westphalia, home of many medium size “hidden champions”. The Faculty of Technical Business Administration is home to about 1,000 students and provides the opportunity to get in touch with flourishing and internationally successful entrepreneurship.

Accommodation

International students can apply for a place in one of the halls of residence run by the Studentenwerk Dortmund in Hagen. If no rooms are available there, it is advisable to look for accommodation on platforms such as wg-gesucht.de, Immobilienscout or eBay Kleinanzeigen. You should look for accommodation well in advance, as there is usually a high demand at the beginning of the semester.

South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences - Hagen campus

The South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences offers a unique combination of modernity and tradition. The Hagen location offers an excellent learning environment with modern laboratories, small groups and close links to the local economy, providing a strong basis for a successful professional future.

Faculty of Technical Business Administration (Technische Betriebswirtschaft - TBW)

The Faculty TBW at South Westphalia UAS provides a unique interdisciplinary approach to engineering, computer science and business administration. It offers a range of Bachelor's degree programmes, including business administration, industrial engineering, business law and business informatics, as well as international variants in collaboration with foreign partner universities.
